Project Number 1

Summary:

Steam was determined to be effective at removing the wax when used as either the first or last stage. With rinse bath temperatures near 212 deg F, trace wax removal was almost complete.

Test Objective:

Alternative to TCE vapor degreasing and dewaxing

Product Use:

Project Number 2

Summary:

Two products were found to work well on the Red Stop off lacquer using ultrasonic cleaning. Both had success at manual removal of excess lacquer as well. Products were evalauted on-site to determine actual effectiveness in the field.

Test Objective:

Replace MEK with greener solvent
