Project Number 1

Test Objective:

The company I am working for is about to introduce a device called E- Mop. It is a simple cleaning mop with a tank and electrical pump that sprays the liquid from the tank to the floor just in front of microfiber covered cleaning head. Moving the mop front and back is removing dirt particle from already sprayed area. The innovation is in the solution that will be in the tank. That solution is electrolyzed water. The electrolyzed water is made inside of the tank which consists of chamber containing two electrodes connected to voltage source. The electrolyzed water is sprayed by the mop if used for floor cleaning. The tank itself is detachable from the mop and could be used as a sprayer. Although I have read and learned number of benefits of electrolyzed water for cleaning and disinfection, I still need to perform practical tests in order to prove and substantiate eventual cleaning claims. I am dealing with bacterial tests separately with another lab. I wanted to talk to you to see how you can provide test reports to prove cleaning efficacy of this solution with regard removing dirt, stains, grease, etc. at various surfaces. I do not have full test protocol in mind but believe it should be some kind of comparison test against the regular water and some kind of comparable detergent. For the surfaces to be cleaned I have in mind the carpet, glass, marble, vinyl, etc. I rely in you to provide best proposal for material of the dirt (i.e. smear) based on your experience with dealing with this kind of products (i.e. the materials that would yield the best result). The product will be used mostly inside of the household (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garage, etc.).
