Summary:
Part of a joint venture between EPA, TURI and RI DEM to reduce the use of TCE in the Providence, RI area, three trials were conducted on this client’s buffing compounds. A follow up test may be conducted using ultrasonic energy in an attempt to improve cleaning efficiencies of the four products tested (Buckeye International XL, Matchless Metal Polish Co MC 132, Oakite Products Inproclean 3800, US Polychem Corporation Polyspray Jet 790 XS). Client plans on trying the recommended product. Client also networked with other company to address staining problems.Test Objective:
