Summary:

Aqueous cleaning chemistry, Daraclean 232, was found to effectively remove machining & stamping fluids from tin-plated steel capacitor cans & covers. With an agitated immersion process both Hydraking 32AW & Kutwell 40 were removed.

Test Objective:

Identifying an alternative cleaning process to replace TCE vapor degreasing of capacitor cans and covers.
