Trial Purpose:

Laboratory evaluations of alternative cleaning products

Experiment Procedure:

Nine products were used at 5% dilutions and heated to 130 F. Stainless steel coupons were coated with Keystone KSL 111 Synthetic Tacky Grease (64742-47-8). Coupons were rinsed with tap water for 2 minutes.

Success Rating:

Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.

Conclusion:

Multikleen LX 1573 removed 98% of the grease
