Trial Purpose:

Laboratory evaluations of alternative cleaning products

Experiment Procedure:

One product was diluted to 5% and heated to 130 F. Brass coupons were coated with oil (64741-89-5), lubricant (64742-47-8, 9003-29-6) and a grease (64742-47-8).

Trial Results:

Works very well.  Should be included in client testing.

Success Rating:

Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.

Conclusion:

The product was successful on all three contaminants.
