Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning: 5 min. immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing : 1/2 min. manual rinsing in water at 120 F .
Drying : 1 min. using heat gun at 500 F
Contaminant : Ink-ITW Dykem Corp.-Ink steel blue DK100

Trial Results:
Ink could be visually seen on the coupons. In SC 431 the clear layer of detergent could be seen on the water, so it does not mix well with the water.
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.Conclusion:
No removal of ink by the given detergents.
