Laboratory evaluations of alternative cleaning products

Experiment Procedure:

Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning. 

Cleaning : 5 min. immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing   : 1/2 min. manual in water at 120 F .
Drying    : 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F.
Contaminant : Gelva Multipurpose Resin Solution
Cas # : 50862-46-9, 141-78-6, 142-80-5

Success Rating:

Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.

Conclusion:

All cleaners failed to give substantial drying.
