Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning : 5 min immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing : 1/2 min manual with tap water at 120 F.
Drying : 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F.
Contaminant : Paint Maskant - Diversy-W.B. Filmite
Trial Results:
Geoguard 2000 not effective, all other effective.
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.
