Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning: 5 min. immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing: 1/2 min. manual with water at 120 F.
Drying: 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F.
Contaminant:
1. Grease: Keystone KSL-111, ELF Lubricants, Diester based grease.
2.Lubricant - ELF Lubricants Nevastone Safeguard 6 Food Machinery lube oil (64742-47-8, 8042-47-5, 9003-29-6)
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.
