Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning: 5 min. immersion at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing: 1/2 min. manual with water at 120 F.
Drying: 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F
Contaminant: Latex binder mix (00146)
CAS#: 9016-45-9, 7664-41-7, 50- 00 -0, 57-55-6, 79-06-1, 924-42-5, 1333-86-4, 7732-18-5
Contains: fluoroacrylate copolymer emulsion
Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate
Trial Results:
None of the cleaners were very effective. Though fryer and grill cleaner were most effective out of all. The contaminant could be seen on the coupons.
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.
