Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning: 5 min. immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing: 1/2 min. manual with water at 120 F.
Drying: 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F.
Contaminant: Lea Manufacturing Company, 2-B-111 Abrasive fatty acids, glycerides and petroleum oil/wax mix, silica dust (148008-60-7)
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.
