Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Cleaning: 5 min. immersion at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing: 1/2 min. manual with water at 120 F
Drying: 1 min. with heat gun at 500 F
Grease - Selmar Tuning Slide and Cork Grease No 2942 petroleum distillates
Trial Results:
Only Westech CT-1550 was effective.
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.
