Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.
Two products were used at full strength and six products were heated to 130 F on a hot plate. Twenty-one preweighed coupons were coated with Roger Reed Wax 6816 and allowed to dry for a half an hour and reweighed. Three coupons were cleaned with product.
Success Rating:
Preliminary compatibility tests on substrate coupons encouraging for at least one cleaning chemistry. More in-depth laboratory testing necessary.Conclusion:
All products were ineffective at removing the contaminant.
