We have a large range of epoxies with modifiers (e.g. thermoplastics). We currently use methylene chloride soaks but with forthcoming EC legislation we need to find an alternative process.
Using the laboratory's database for solvent cleaning substitution, the lab generated the following lists of products. The products have been evaluated at SSL under similar conditions to the client's criteria. The first list is a direct substitution for methylene chloride in resin cleaning operations. The second list contains vendor recommended products for resin removal.
