From TURI, we would like to get gravimetric analysis by using ultrasonic cleaning method with different types of cleaners and possibly changing the residence times from 2 to 8 seconds.

Three trials were conducted using ultrasonic energy. Four of six products were marginally successful in two, 2 second cleanings. Three of these were more successful at 8 seconds and higher concentrations. A final trial found Inproclean 3800 to be the only product that showed improvements at 20% concentration. The other two products, EXP 1400 and Surface Cleanse, worked better at the 10% concentration, removing over 93% of the lubricant.
