Three pre-weighed and L value measured coupons per cleaner were contaminated with 0.5g of DCC-17 soil (33 wt.% vegetable shortening, 33 wt.% lard, 33 wt.% vegetable oil, and 1 wt.% carbon lampblack) and air dried at room temperature (68˚F) for 24 hours. Contaminated weights and L values were recorded before placing three coupons per cleaner into the Gardner Straight Line Washability (SLW) unit. A Kimberly-Clark Wypal reinforced paper towel was attached to the cleaning sled. The Wypall and each coupon were treated with two sprays and cleaned for 20 cycles (~30 seconds of cleaning). Cleaned coupons were wiped once with a dry paper towel before final weights were taken.
