1. Remove all fluid from the interior of the assembly and 2. Damage prevention (bellows are very delicate and dent easily----DI rinse and possible vacuum drying.

In conjunction with ultrasonic energy four products (two aqueous and two semi-aqueous) were found effective in removing the flux. Vacuum drying was found to be the best drying option for the parts being cleaned.
