About 6 inches of the end of each customer supplied cable were taped off and then Designated ends of the cable were wiped with the cleaner chosen, Vertrel SDG using Wypall reinforced cotton paper towel at room temperature, 68 F, for 10 – 15 seconds with no rinse and they were let to air dry. The cleaned ends were then wrapped in parafilm and the cables were sent back to the client for evaluation.
