To remove residue lubricant and dirt mix on knitting machine, remove buffing compound after blade sharpening

Have tried to use aqueous systems on in-place cleaning with bad results (seizing of machine).
Seven cleaners were evaluated successfully on two supplied soils and a supplied soiled part. Solsafe 245 has been found to be the most effective with the least amount of odor and is currently being used.
