Trichloroethylene
Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a dangerous solvent both to the health of the workers and to the environment. Local regulations are seeking to ban the use of TCE, so the company needs to identify an effective alternative.
The purpose of cleaning is to remove dried coatings of lubricants and and cutting fluids from cast iron and other metal parts (including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum).
