Currently for cleaning we are using two ultrasonic tanks one with rouge remover (Compound Remover CR17-5G) and one with Dawn heavy duty pot and pan detergent. Our problem is that parts are not coming out as clean as we would like them to be so we are looking into replacing the dawn with a stronger solvent however most of the recommendations we have received from current suppliers are extremely dangerous to human health, ineffective, or extremely hazardous to dispose of.

We are trying to follow ASTM standard A380/A380M Standard practice for cleaning descaling and passivation of stainless steel parts, equipment, and Systems to comply with customer requirements for clean parts that can be used for their process
