Basic cleaning performance testing was conducted using ASTM G122 as the bases for cleaning.

Contaminant: ITW Dykem Corp - ink-Steel blue -DX-100
cas # : 64175, 123864, 71363, 9004700, 67630, 8004873.
EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURE:
Cleaning : 5 min. immersion cleaning at 120 F with stir-bar agitation.
Rinsing : 1/2 min. manual with water at 120 F.

Results

Conclusion

NONE OF THE CLEANERS WORKED. There was observed increase in weight which can be contributed to the fact that water was retained by the contaminant.
