Part of a joint venture between EPA, TURI and RI DEM to reduce the use of TCE in the Providence, RI area, five trials were conducted on this client’s buffing compounds. Two cleaning solutions, Polyspray Jet 790 XS and Detergent 8, were tested on supplied parts. Both had some success in cleaning the supplied parts. However, not all parts were completely cleaned. Parts have been sent back to the client for analysis.
