A 72 dynes/cm solution was used during this verification test based off of testing done by Kyzen. A corner of a clean swab was used to apply three lines of the dyne test solution on the surface of a button part. Visual observations were documented using a lighted magnifying glass. Lines that held their shape for three seconds was considered effective.
Parts Evaluated:(1) Sample A, (2) Sample B, (3) Sample C
Due to this being the third test for cleanliness verification and the risk of cross contamination, the dyne test solution does not reflect the results seen from the contact angle and white glove test. This test was conducted a month after the parts were received due to an internal delay. The contact angle and the white glove test would be considered to have a true reflection of the cleanliness for the button parts.
