Twelve alternative products and two current products were put into glass bottles and capped. Three lab personnel independently ranked the products from least smell to most odor. The overall ranking of the product was based on the average of the three rankings.
The four products from Gemtek were ranked in the top five for least amount of odor. Rochester Midland's EnviroCare Washroom Cleaner was the other product in the top five. The two current products were ranked in the bottom third. The table lists the rankings from the three employees, the average ranking and the normalized relative ranking.
