REQUEST: Do you know of any recent, 199???, studies that show the status of industry shift from CFCs to alternate chemistries? Any #s on % that have converted/ To what chemistry? Any breakdown according to market types, ie. aerospace, fasteners, automotive, platers, general manufacturing, or large manufacturers vs. small shops?
RESPONSE: The following information is based on testing performed at TURI's Surface Cleaning Lab from 1994-2000. The Excel attachment includes four sections.
1. Client Type Information It includes information about what the company does, what they were trying to accomplish a brief summary of what the lab did whether they attempted to implement the lab's recommendations
2. A listing of Products evaluated successfully for replacement of current chemical. Use the Client number listed in this table with the client number in the first table to identify client type
3. A listing of Chemicals replace for the client number listed
4. Is a summing of Chemicals replaced
