Concerned about rinsing. Worried about spotting and residues left behind after cleaning with an aqueous product.
Part of a joint venture between EPA, TURI and RI DEM to reduce the use of TCE in the Providence, RI area, one trial has been conducted on this client’s supplied parts. The main focus for this client was to evaluate rinsing methods that would eliminate spotting and residue from the cleaning products. One product, Polyspray Jet 790 XS, was found to be successful when using a three stage heated rinsing protocol. Parts have been sent back to the client for analysis.
