To evaluate supplied aerosol base-board strippers for odor

Experiment Procedure:

Three lab personnel ranked the products from least to worst odor. Products were sprayed 2-3 seconds into a clean beaker for each observer to evaluate. Odor was ranked on the level of odor and what type of odor. The overall ranking of the product was based on the average of the three rankings. The levels and odor types are listed below.

Trial Results:

Only one product was ranked at the same level for all three experimenters. The Claire Baseboard product received the lowest ranking due to its strong ammonia like odor. Both the Amrep products had the lowest odor of the five baseboard stripping products.
