Summary:

Part of a joint venture between EPA, TURI and RI DEM to reduce the use of TCE in the Providence, RI area, one trial has been conducted on this client’s supplied parts. The main focus for this client was to evaluate alternatives for buffing compound removal. Six trials were conducted on various aqueous and semi-aqueous products. The company was decided to look at drop in replacements for their current vapor degreasing process.
